About the Calgary Breastfeeding Matters Group Foundation (CBMGF) |
The Calgary Breastfeeding Matters Group Foundation is a networking group for breastfeeding professionals in the Calgary area.
The Calgary Breastfeeding Matters Group Foundation represents a number of
health care professionals and other interested persons
who endeavor to promote, protect, and support breastfeeding
in our community. |
The Calgary Breastfeeding Matters Group Foundation:
- Provides opportunities for breastfeeding advocates
to network for mutual support.
- Shares current information in the field of lactation
through Continuing Education (CERP) sessions.
- Encourages informal networking between breastfeeding advocates
through the CBMGF website as well as other informal networking sessions.
- Identifies local and/or national issues and concerns regarding breastfeeding
by prioritizing relevant issues or concerns and initiating appropriate action
for those issues of highest priority.
