Continuing Education Recertification Points (CERPS)

What is a Cerp Session?

CERP is the acronym for Continuing Education Recognition Points. CERPs are the pre-approved professional education units awarded by the IBLCE to sessions at conferences and to other educational materials or programs which are  appropriate continuing education for IBCLCs.  CERPs are awarded upon completion of an educational program; in North America, one (1) CERP is equivalent to sixty (60) minutes of instructional time.
